Hi
By default Xara can not wrap text around an object, but yuo can do it with Xara. Have a look at Xaraxone and workbook 33, Wrapping text around an object, at this link http://www.xaraxone.com/webxealot/workbook33/index.htm

Thanks Sven-Ingvar,
Thank you for the link to Gary's guide on XaraXone. I hadn't looked there.
Unfortunately this 'trick' seems to work for left-justified text only.
At least, I could not get it to work with fully justified text.
So, I fear that the question remains open:
How to wrap (fully justified) text around an object?
Hints are welcome.

Hi,
I guess there's no other way than to use a chain of text-boxes, each of which containing one single line of the text.
Here's how I worked it out.
I created one text block with the full paragraph.
I placed a copy of the same text in grey in the background, as a guide to maintain the correct linespacing.
I reduced the height of the 'black' text block to approx 1.5 lines.
The text obviously overflowed.
Next, I created a series of text boxes for the subsequent lines, using the grey text in the background as my lineheight guide.

A good work around !

While this is a clever workaround, it only emphasizes the need for Xara to incorporate this functionality if it's going to offer itself as an option for desktop publishing.
