Here are my settings. This tiny snapshot on XPro screen "flickered" several times, even when I didn't touch a thing, not a key on my keyboard, not a hair on my head.

Uninstall Microsoft Intellipoint
I think Daniel may have found the correct answer.

Bill is no longer with us. He died on 10 Dec 2012. We remember him always.
My TG Album
Last XaReg update
Wow!!!!! Thank you so much! That seems to have taken care of the problem. My XPro is back to maximum stability. I tried it about 6 or 7 times. Only time will tell.
I did uninstall the Intellipoint driver (odd that I would be using that mouse) and the problem went away. AND my Intellimouse still works - all the buttons. That's even more strange.
I will keep experimenting and post here later with an update on my stability.
Thanks to all who contributed to help solve this, especially Daniel and Bill.
Scotty - Are you too using the Intellimouse?

Okay, I'm convinced. That was it. Not only does XPro now work flawlessly but all my other prgs now work better. They had some quirks in them that I simply attributed to something else, and now all is well.
Thanks guys.
Now can you give me the winning numbers for Saturday night's 275 million dollar powerball?????
-=Bob=-
No problem, just stick with Logitech mice and you'll be OK.
I'm going to be away from my PC till Sunday, but I'll be able to give you Saturday's winning numbers then.
HaHaHA
Hahahaha. Thanks.
Actually I LOVE my Intellimouse and have been using nothing else for years. I am on my 7th Intellimouse, not that they fail often, just that I use them a lot, and sometimes in gaming the use is intense.
I find it rather odd that the mouse still works (and all the buttons) without that driver... (except maybe the left/right scroll with the wheel, which I never use anyway).
By the way, Xara Support has been in contact with me frequently and almost immediately since I first sent in a support ticket. They were most helpful, but I contacted TG first and hence the answer came from here, first. Thank you, Xara Support, also.
