More ready shapes to use?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know where can i found or download some more shapes to use ?
I need to apply a text on a nice shape and then use a light 3D effects.
I didn't succeed to do my own one

Welcome Gaftalik. What type of shapes do you mean? There's multiple shapes in the XXP clipart gallery or you could do a search for clipart on the internet.

Hi Graftalik,

Sounds as though you've experimented a little with the drawing tools - but are you aware that you can combine/weld several simple shapes together to create a more complex and interesting shape?

In Xara 4's Help File, info can be found in the following section...

Shape Handling\Combining Shapes\Merging Several Shapes Into One.

(There's other sections to cover off other ways of combining several shapes - but the section above is a good place to start)

Once you've created a more complex single shape from several simple shapes - you can edit it with the "Shape Editor" tool - which is worth reading up on as well, as it's the most important tool for manipulating the form of your designs.

I meant any nice shape or form on which i can write for ex: Ice cream

I am at the begining of learning with xara.

I will also have a look in the help as instructed .

I made a search and what i need are label shapes actually such as what i found in Taylor's shields and joel labels on this page http://www.xaraxone.com/html/templates.html

There are also many "symbol/picture" fonts that have amazing shapes and designs. It doesn't solve the issue of more "direct" shapes -- just another option.

You can also do a search on free vectors. There are many free files out there.
