    Default Trompe-l'œil

I'm always fascinated by these and hope some of you will also enjoy them. A friend sent me an email with photos of seven trucks. I have attached one ... the others are in the attached Xara file.

They look fantastic. But all those images are of the exact same truck and drop shadow, not 7 trucks but 1.
ReDrawn artwork and pasted onto various backgrounds.
Not real finished signwork on different vehicles.

All the same, great effect indeed.. Potentially a traffic hazard ?

I suppose, if they are real, it's a "niche" market with only a small number of companies that would provide the service ... and they would use mock-ups to showcase their work. Maybe someone from Europe would know the answer to that.

If it's not real, it's still a fascinating form of art.

    Hi Mickie,

    Very interesting concept art.

I have seen some similar custom art on a few trailers here in the states. Expositions and custom car shows more than on the highway.
