    Default Buddy and Ignore lists

Does anyone actually use the Buddy List? Any advantage to using it?

I was just using the TG FAQ and reading about it and found this:

Ignore lists are used for those people whose messages you wish not to read. By adding someone to your ignore list, those messages posted by these individuals will be hidden when you read a thread.

How in the world can a person be up-to-date with things if some of the threads they read have posts that are invisible to them? Does anyone actually use this Ignore feature?

Buddy Lists are useful on forums that have hundreds or thousands of people online at the same time, as it can be tricky to read those "who's online" lists with that many people.

The Ignore List I'm sure is used by a few members. The feature can actually make threads quicker to read, for members that wish to automatically filter out certain type of posts, avatars and sigs. However, I'm sure it's not all that common.

Yes! Some people post only meaningless drivel which can safely be ignored.

Unfortunately anyone designated a Moderator cannot be blocked though.

Daniel, PM me, about which moderator posts meaningless drivel, and I might be able to set up a special filter just for you. I need about 20-30 post examples - highlight keywords in each and I'll see what I can do. Can't promise anything, but there is a plug-in that might do the trick for you.
