I've edited my design just a little. I added a website and an address line at the bottom of the letterhead. Plus I made the png smaller. What do you all think of it?

Francis I like your design. I hope you don't mind I made a smaller grayscale version to see how it would look when copied and/or faxed.

I think that the business card could have some of the information moved to the back or smaller in text size on the front. Most cards I see from contractors/businesses etc have the company logo, business name, and the person's name prominate and other information in smaller type.

Remi, Hans, and Steve your designs are very nice. Lean and professional. Obviously you used the 'KISS' approach

Anas your design is minimalist and thought provoking. It could be unique enough that clients will remember it more than others.
I hope you don't mind that I made a grayscale version.

Sorry Steve. I have a bad habit of posting then doing edits to add thoughts that zipped past faster than my fingers could type.

    Thanks Soquili,
It still looks good in greyscale.
My first attempt had half of the same image blown up and blurred in the background but in the end it looked like overkill.
The ideas I have in my head, rarely look the same on the screen or paper.

IMO the designs by both Frances and Soquili have a retro feel to them. Remi's is my favourite, even though it probably took the shortest time. Steve's also looks modern and on the cutting edge of the market.

I've amended my original post (number 9):
Greyscale letterhead added. I added a green sidebar
to the letterhead, as there was just too much white
space, and I've added it to the business card for conformity.
I've reduced the point size of the clarity.ttf as a concession
to the advice you've given me Remi, I do understand what
you and Anas are saying, and I see that the two fonts were
jockeying for prominence. I didn't want the font any
smaller or it would be difficult to read.
All the submissions so far are of a very high standard.
I'd like to see some more.
    Saludos,
    Bob.
