    Default Webstyle4 & Front Page 2003

Have not used Webstyle for a while and now find that "Select insert\xara Webstyle 4\NavBars and menus" do not appear in the add-ins.
    Despite uninstalling Front Page - Webstyle4 & the add-ins re-installing all again
I get the same result. Has this happened to anyone and is there a known remedy??

Padito the following link connects to the Xara Support site and the knowledgebase article for the FrontPage add-in.

    http://support.xara.com/index.php?_m...&nav=0,463,471

Are you installing the add-in when installing Webstyle or by using the download from the link in the Xara Support knowledgebase?

Last I heard from support was to uninstall all 3 - then install front page - Webstyle without the add-in - and the add-in from the support page.
Unsuccessful. So tried again this time with the webstyle add-ins FP ticked.
Still the same. Suspect some "left over" stuck on my computer, but can't figure out how to clear it? Never had this problem before - not sure if last time I used webstyle I saw a notice "Webstyle encountered a problem and has to close" As I say I have not used it for a while. When I try to edit previous menus I get attached message.

Do you have any programs that monitor the registry that may be preventing updates and/or deletions?

I would disable System Restore and any programs like anti-virus, anti-adware, or anti-spyware.

    Reboot.

    Uninstall as Xara Support recommends.

Reboot and make sure any programs like anti-virus, anti-adware, or anti-spyware are still disabled.

    Install the applications.

    Reboot.

Re-enable System Restore and any other programs you disabled.

    Hi Bill:
Took your advice uninstalled the lot - closed everything down using EndItAll and re-installed FP - Webstyle4(without FP add-in) ran Add-in from source.
Result. Exactly same screen NoWebstyle. Has to be something stuck in the registry, but no idea as to how to clear it.

    Hi Padito,

A registry cleaner program may help.

There are many to choose from

I have used the registry cleaner programs from PCTools and from CleanMyPC with good results.

    Hi Bill:
Forgot I had MaxRegCleaner - cleaned registry - uninstalled Fp-Ws-add-in.
Closed everything down with EndItAll then re-installed FP -WS and ran the add-in from source. Result same as before. Have little hair left!!
Can't believe I am the only one who has experienced this problem.

Padito is FrontPage installed in the default location or to another?

The attached image shows where the Webstyle extension is installed on my WinXP system.
