It's amazing seing something like this coming out a vector application. It would make it look eveb more impressive seeing this technique (imagery) printed huge, which is evident from the detail.

Surely, it's not the application that creates it, but the artist. You can't give an idea to some wood, hammer and nails and tell them to build a house for you.

Of course not! I'm not slow... (even though I have been accused of much, much, much worse...)

I'm also not 14 --- I'm 40... You make it look so easy and effortless (and good). Looking at that the average 14-year-old who just downloaded PS and some filters off of Kazaa and posting their "work" on Deviant Art... (and comparing it to yours...) I'm just saying that I can tell the difference... Let the 14-year-olds try the same in a vector application (or at a size where something is actually reproduced/printed). Hence the vector - applause!

You are an artist and you know your stuff... The vector reference was not meant to be an inult. Really! This is amazing work.

Very provocative portrait. Should be on the cover of TIME magazine! (In the link check out the 1956 cover featuring Maria Callas, the opera singer. It is brilliant). James do you have an agent who can get you such a gig?

Some nice images there on that site. I like that one of Maria Callas yes.

If you look at the art I have produced it is quite cutting.

As for having an agent, I just about have a job in a bar which I start soon after 4 months of no work and eating bread every day and leaning on my friends to survive. So if you can get me paid for any thing that I draw then please help me out! If anyone wants to pay me for any images that I create it would be amazing. I would even do pictures of people, portraits for money. That would be great! My dream job!

Extremely well done. Using Xara brushes to create an image like that requires extraordinary skill.
