    Default Babar Luck

Now I've worked out how to use Vector Brushes and changing their colour I thought I would do some experiment to see what affects I could do with them. I really liked the way this turned out. I include the wireframe for your enjoyment as well.

EXCELLENT work, James. I don't know anything about art history, but this reminds me of a Van Gogh style painting. Definitely a five star rendering.

I'm sorry but when I get any free time I'm doing art so I don't have time to make you a tutorial for this but I would say when you create brushes have 30-50% transparency on the shapes you make it from and also have randomisation on all the parts of the brush especially a little on the colour. I think maybe just experiment like i do ...

Beautiful, James! You have a lot of talent! I like this one a lot better than your cab driver, because this one represents a man of power to me. I hope, if your profile is up-to-date, that you quickly find a job working with people who appreciate that talent.

    Amazing use of Xara Brushes.

I had never heard of the man but a google search provides some good information and some YouTube videos of him performing.

    Excellent likeness.
