Can someone tell me how to save an anamation so that I can open it on my desk top without the folder opening . I only want the anamation (a very simple one) visable, ie. a bouncing ball.Thanks

Hi jdr and welcome to the forums.

I think what you need to do is "Save As" and choose Desktop. This will place an icon on the Desktop named ***.fla

Now publish the Flash file and this will place an icon on the destop named ***.swf

You can now delete the shortcut to ***.fla leaving only the ***.swf shortcut.

If you click on this the swf should run. (Of course all other related files need to be saved to the desktop)
