If I save a image with a transparant background in a Jpegfile, the background turns to white. What must I do to avoid this?

    Hi

My first posting here and would like to say hello to all PI users!

As Charisma mentioned the gif file format supports transparent backgrounds. I don't work with PNG images too often but I think that format also support transparent backgrounds.

Another option is to "cut out" the background, isolating the part of the image you actually want to use. This creates an object which can be put onto any background

I have a few ufo downloads that show you what I mean. Your welcome to download them.
