Adding fonts to Xara

I've downloaded new fonts from various font sites that I want to use in Xara.

They are ttf. How do I add these to the Fonts gallery, or access my fonts from another folder?

In the past Gary has used fonts that require downloading to use in his tutorials, but I am at a complete loss how I did it before.

Hope someone can help me out here, my son wants to create a subject cover for a school project.

Install the in your Fonts folder in Control Panel > Fonts.

Usually you just drag the font into the folder and it is installed.

If you add fonts regularly here's a tip to make it a few moments faster.

Right-Click on your desktop and select 'New -> Shorcut'
In the location type: fonts
In the name type: Fonts
Press ok or finish.

To install a new downloaded font, simply drag'n'drop it onto the new 'Fonts' icon you just created. A copy of the font will then have been installed and now available in Xara.

Also note, that simply typing fonts from the run box will also bring up the windows fonts folder. No need to enter the full path.
