As the program is fairly specifically a 'paint' program not a vector program I think I'd give it a chance to do what it's good at, not throw it in the bin for things that it's not specifically aimed at or good at. Painter is not a jack of all trades program... it's more (trying to be) a master of just one and that's painting .

I'd tend to agree - painter does things no other program does. It is not a problem
