    Default "standard" colors in Painter

    Hi,

I have a question about color sets in Painter.
I am trying to follow along with some tutorials from books (about traditional painting) that mention standard colors like "burnt sienna" etc.

I wanted to know if any anyone had created a color set for these standard colors, or knew where I could download one...

    Thanks.....

The default Color Set in both Painter IX and Painter X is a named color set containing traditional artist's colors.

In Painter IX, it's located in the Painter IX application/program folder and the file name is:

    Mac - Painter Colors

    Windows - Painter.pcs

In Painter X, it's located in the Painter X application/program folder's Resources folder and the file name is:

The same for both Mac and Windows: Painter Colors.colors
