Does any one know of a simple flash file compiler? I want build a mini presentation using photos, text and some of my xara x graphics. Basically a Power Point type presentation. I don't care about being flashy- just a simple presentation.

Note- I have a website and just want to drop in the .swf file.

Xara x exports .swf brilliantly - so my next step is compiling the whole thing into one file.

apparently screenweaver (get the trial here) will do the job. there are other things, too, like SWFCombine, SWFLock&Load, etc. Just do a Google for SWF Merge and you'll find a bunch of things.

I don't think you can do what you want just using Xaras swf export.

I know one product that would be ideal for you to merge SWF files as well as making a gallery or presentation:http://www.swfmerge.com

The presentation modul of OpenOffice (called "Impress") is a OpenSource PowerPoint replacement and you're able to export a presentation to Adobe Flash (SWF) files.

Not only will it do exactly what you want, it will also turn any animated gif into an swf.

Can add sound clips and/or a sound track and helluva lot more.
One of my favourite programmes.
