Thanks for kind words Bob I think I'm right in saying those contraptions are played in your neck of the woods too - tho more like the Northumbrian version - so you might find one in the wild yet

Keith, glad to see more joining the fun.
Nothing lousy about it, I'd suggest perhaps some
smoke coming from the top of the N.
You're quite right, John, they are played here, but mainly
in the Basque country in the North.
Not kind words, it's just how I see it.
This one's the same in Spanish and English, had to add a few
more visual clues otherwise nobody would get it.
Saludos,
Bob.

Good approach shot with that bunker lurking
One here to keep up with the pace .... double grrrroooaan

It's sometimes difficult to keep "track" of where you're going, John.
No carbon involved this time, though. Don't know about you,
but I learn something new with each post.
I shall be devoting a little less time here over the next week,
as I shall be watching a bunch of blokes playing with their
balls on a 12 X 6 foot table, but I'll pop in from time to time.
Keep going without me, though, I'll try to catch up and you'll
be encouraging others to participate. Have you noticed the
number of views and replies that we've all generated in this short time?
Saludos,
Bob.

I'll be watching the Masters myself - multiple tables on BBC/Freeview hopefully.
I'm learning a lot Bob from this thread, not least how to control Xara's tools to turn an abstract idea into something recognisable on the screen - so thanks for starting the thread The whole site and its inhabitants are an inspiration I think
John

Yes I'm looking forward to it as well, I can receive BBCi when at times the bad weather, usually strong winds, doesn't allow us to see other freeview programmes, so a choice of tables is a great feature.
Xara is the star of the show here on tg, and I like to encourage participation with the challenges. Paul (geminiguy) is doing the same with his scribbles. You could do a lot worse than revisit those and post your own ideas.
Enjoy the snooker.
Saludos,
Bob.
