Thanks guys... All good points, and well taken It's a bit different trying to come up with something to resemble certain items when trying to maintain this same "bubble" look all across the board.
Bob, I will definitely try that style to the flag. Thanks
Remi, very nice... I only wish I had Xara 3D
I've done 2 other icon sets in the past, which were more detailed, but I think the fact I'm trying to keep this set as simple and (cutsie) as possible is what makes it more difficult
The one thing which will help to get most users familiar with each icon, will be the text which appears during the "mouse-over" effect.
I might try to redo the browser with 3 options... The default will be Flock, as this will be the default browser for the system, and then one each for Firefox and Opera
The My Computer icon, I'm not completely thrilled with... I'm working on another one
The Trash icon is a toughie too.... (again) I'm trying to keep the overall look and make this set very original. I think I need to change the look of the paper in the trash-full icon??
I'm having a lot of fun with this set though.
    Thanks Gray

I also included the .xar for anyone wanting to play

    Hi Paul,
Just glancing to my left, I can see that my waste paper basket is
nearly full. Apart from the beer cans it does indeed contain mainly paper.
Mine's all screwed up into balls, though. Perhaps that would look better.
    Saludos,
    Bob.

I don't use Xara 3D - it's not powerful enough in my eyes. You could try some Open Source 3D graphics package like Blender or Wings 3D, whenever you need a tool to help you with creating a scene with the right perspective. Personally, I use Carrara Studio Pro, but it seems the Open Source tools are also good alternatives.

I know what Bob means - but I think it looks great the way it is, I have a feeling that screwed up might be difficult to get right visually in the graphically simple context - could be wrong

course these days it should be shredded ! - not sure that would work either

Geminiguy, these are all truly wonderful. Extremely creative and such happy color schemes. Great job.
