Size of Symbols / MovieClips etc

Is there any directory or menu option i can find out the individual size of each symbol and graphic etc?

I don't think there is, which is strange. However if you really need to know an individual objects size just copy and paste it into a blank new fla and Control / Test Movie. The size is displayed in the Bandwidth profiler. (Or you could place the symbol in a frame of it's own in the timeline)

seems like you could drag an instance of it temporarily and break it apart, (ctrl-b) and you will be able to see the sizes from there.

that doesn't help though probably.
