Missing images when printing

I have seen this with two drawings. Printing a Xar file did not print the object fill in one drawing. It left a white area. On another drawing, one of the vector drawings printed just the edge of the drawing. I can make a bitmap copy, and that will print. XXP 3.2.4.

Just a stab here as I've not printed a lot directly from XaraXPro.
Could the missing parts/fills be in locked layers?

I have had the same problem. It occurs with a bitmap which has been manipulated in some way. Once it was just sliced and feathered a bit. After trying to figure out what was happening (with no success, because it doesn't happen all the time) I made a bitmap copy of the "shape" and it printed with no problem.

I also had a case where I had stretched the bitmap shape a bit and decided I didn't like it. So I resized it and when printed I still got the stretched shape. Again, a bitmap copy of the shape solved the problem.

I get this occationally with complex drawings. Under the print options select Print as... anti-aliased bitmap instead of normal. I think very complex drawings have a tendency to confuse the print driver. Printing as an anti-aliased bitmap makes xara create a temp .png of the piece and then it prints that at least that is how I interpret it.

That worked. The file has several thousands of vectors.
