Xtreme Pro cd only

if i buy the Xtreme pro cd, Just wondering do i get all the pluging and stuff?? and just wanna ask dose it let you put moving animation on it cause i remember xara xtreme don't have that...

Hello Patrick

You get several plug-ins with either the CD or the download version including AV Bros. Page Curl, Redfeild and Mehdi sets of filters. Alien Skin Xenofex 2 and Eye Candy 4000 include many trial versions and a few free effects. Plus you can use most Photoshop compatible plug-in filters.

You can create both GIF and Flash animations with Xtreme Pro.

The CD version comes with a manual, and a CD of Xara Xone tutorials and more.

There are few differences between Xara Xtreme and Xara Xtreme Pro. See here http://www.xara.com/products/xtreme/ for a complete list. The basic Xtreme is far cheaper. Not sure whether you need the Pro features, that is your call, but I believe (and you'll have to check this with Xara), that if you buy Xtreme and want to upgrade to Pro that you only pay the difference. An email to Xara will confirm.

I can confirm that they all work fine under Vista.
Even much older plugins that require MSVCRT10.DLL will work fine under Vista so long as you download the MSVCRT10.DLL and place it into the system32 folder. (Link also includes Plugin.dll also required for some some older/special 8BFs)

thanks for help guys . Only one i have now is only xara xtreme and xara3d6 they are awesome..and yes i'll be getting xara xtreme pro soon cause i wanna test out the GIF and Flash animations

You should be able to do .gif animations with xtreme. That goes way back to 1.1. I am not sure what you can do with flash in xtreme tho.
