color seperation

ok. i know this is easy but having a bad day(hangover).
im making a t-shirt and need seperate colors for screens.

i have an image but need to seperate the red and black.
i want to have all the red on one layer and all the black on another.

Heres part 2.
is there anyways to after fill the entire area of the dogs in solid so i can screen entire image white then lay red and black detail layers over top.

any help would be great.

You can mask it in photoshop and click on the blending option to change the texture into solid
