I posted these in the 'do you use plugins' outsider thread as examples - however they are means to an end - towards the non[well hardly ever] political cartoon strip I'm working away at in the background.
Dang pressed submit too soon again!
First is a medhi melt and transparency generated reflection - second is an enamel type effect - like the sort of earings someone I know used to wear - using medhi vibrations and transparency

Althought this is almost a photography subject, it is making use of XXP.

An on going project to restore as much colour to my slide collection which have developed a blue cast over the last 24 years.
Sadly most of my collection was taken on Agfa slide film, which have all turned varying depths of blue. About a hundred or so were taken on Fujifilm and are still fine aside from some surface mould. Pretty sad really, a lot are of my departed parents and of course my son in very early years.
Some are so bad, like the example on the left the only thing to do is to give them the sepia look.

In making a contact sheet I thought it would be nice to draw them still inside the plastic slide frame, so I drew up the AGFA frame (reverse side as this was more interesting).
A simple but effective use of XXP..

Nostaw, your chip is very good, and thank you for the xar file. The chip itself is photorealistic, only through the contacts is easy to spot that it's a drawing.
Very nice work!
