Default Great Way To Do Biz Cards

Was Stumbling on the web and had a look on this site: http://veerle.duoh.com/blog/comments...n_illustrator/ and found a great way to do copy Biz cards. Would normally use larger format paper but used A4 for demo.

The way to copy your card is to select the card and then go to "Effects" then down to "Distort & Transform" then out to "Transform" and then when the dialogue box opens up chose a size that is slightly bigger than the height of your card. If your biz card is 90mm x 55mm then enter -60 into the vertical box put enter 3 into the copies box and tick preview then OK. That will give you 4 cards going down the way then do the same process again but this time select the horizontal and if your card is 90 in length the put in 95mm but this time only put 1 copy in with preview selected. All you have to do now is centre up the cards and the great thing is that if you change the text in the master card all the others will change. Now if you were really smart and it had "Bleed" you could put the crop marks in as well but you would need to allow for that in your horizontal and vertical size when you Transform. Good or Not!

Now I thought I had shown the readers of this forum, if there are any, one great way of duplicating their biz cards so that they can be printed. But zilch nobody reads this forum. I could easily expose myself down here it it would not be noticed. Ok I can here you say something there and I will not repeat it so come on give a reaction even negative I don't mind as Illy is the most used vector programme.

It does sound great Peter. Will it work in Illy 10? I may have a reason to install it again.
