Can't paste text from other programs.

I'm having an odd problem - I can't paste any text from other programs at all. It just pastes the last thing I copied in Xara, instead of the clipboard.

I looked in the help files, but didn't see any special notes about this... could this be a bug? I'm using 1784.

This feature hasn't been implemented yet. It's been this way from the beginning of the Linux version... sorry about that.

Does anybody have any workarounds to this... aside from inserting text as a picture?

I need to insert Thai text into a project, but can't read or type it... I have a document with all of the text written out and just need to get it from that document into xara.

I've never found a workaround... I use the Windows version, 3.02, in VMware Server under Ubuntu 7.10 as my work flow.

One of these days...
