Nothing wrong with using 3D software as a guide Thor.

Have you tried Googlesketchup? The free version is easy to use and outputs line-drawings, though not as vector (I think, maybe others know different) and at quite a low res, but for working out tricky perspective, it's great.

Though the idea of 3D layers is not daft (other programs have them), I think it is unlikely in Xtreme, at least in the near future LOL!

This is interesting, but perhaps of limited use; http://blip.tv/file/358735

Don't be downhearted anyway, this is still a very good illustration and the reflection is only the 'icing', so to speak.

Great job Thor! Very professional. Keith is right, in English there is no e at the end of great.

I didn't do these designs for anyone but for me actually .. the only purpose of it is to improve my skills and become a better graphic designer. What I usually do is I chose a picture that I like on the net, I vectorise it and then I try to make a nice background for it .. that's all.
I whish I could get paid some day for this kind of work .. I enjoy it so much

Ahhh, but keep in mind... once you begin to get paid for it.... it becomes "work"
and once in a while... you get those rather "persistent / pesky, and picky" clients
