    Default Gradient Fill text

    HI All,
i am trying to gradient fill text but when I click on the little red box at the beginning of the text then go to the list of colours and click a colour the text disappears and I get a white background and so unable to see the other red box to click to set the final colour of the gradient... I tried this as it was described on the forums but it doesn't seem to want to work for me...
I am trying to set a gradient of blue from very light to very dark, a "corporate" type of colour... it's for a graphic/logo for a web site.

    Cheers
    Andy

Draw the text. Select the text and add a linear fill arrow - make the arrow longer than the text at both ends. Drop the required colours on each end of the fill arrow, and adjust the arrow to suit.
