    John,

    A chrome finish is not always shiny. It could be a matt gray in finish. I had a tool hard chromed one time, and when I received it, I was a little surprised. Took a long time to polish it.

    Chrome-cluttered thing-a-majig. Chrome effects, bevels, shadows, transparencies, 3D, and CLUTTER!

    [Yikers! The nice background is now lines instead of graduated tones.]

    [Later... I re-ul'd the pic, this time as a jpeg. The first time it was a gif. Now the background looks as it should.]

    This started out as a Chromation, but wandered until it became a couple of pebbles. Oh well. some times these projects just have a mind of their own!
