xaralx 1780-1783 on ubuntu gutsy (lots of bugs)

hi.

i installed xaralx version 1780, 1781, 1782, 1783 on Ubuntu gutsy. Its very very unstable.

** don't export any file types (core dumped)

** right-click page options (core dumped)

etc..

how to fix these errors and crash?

I also had problems. But after reinstalling Ubuntu yesterday (gutsy), I installed Xara through aptitude. I then installed ImageMagick in addition, not a single error message (for the first time ever for me) upon opening.

Hi,

with the "G_SLICE=always-malloc xaralx" Xara Xtreme works on Ubuntu 7.10, but i can't no longer export images (like png) with transparancy.

I hope this will be fixed in the next revision.

You might want to try build 1785. This should not need the G_SLICE fix. I don't know about the transparency problem (that sounds to me like a possible conflict with ImageMagick).

Hi,

with rev 1785 i have also a lot of export problems:

- I can't export images with transparency (testet with png export)
- I can't change the imagesize (testet with png and jpeg export)
- exported svg's are blank

By starting XaraXtreme from a terminal, i become this output:

by exporting a png, i become this message:

I can confirm 2 issues for 1785

- I can't export PNG's with transparency only GIF's
- SVG are black blank

I have ImageMagick and ImageMagic++
