XaraLX (1780) trap if rotate shape

Hi all.

I have any problem with personalbuild XaraLX r.1780. The problem i subscribe in bugzilla http://bugzilla.xara.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3267, but repeat text here. May be someone help me..


My system is Kubuntu 7.04. In system installed wxWidgets 2.8.4. I compile XaraLX from source package XaraLX-0.7r1780.tar.bz2 (run configure, make, make install).

Run XaraLX. To console printing some warning, but xara normal started.

In "About" window i see info

I click to rectangle tool, and draw one rectangle. Then click select tool, and
two-click on rectangle for view rotate-tool arrow. Click on rotate arrow, and
try rotate rectangle. The rectangle turn to small angle (2-3 degree), and
XaraLX trap with 3-button massage window

"An extremely serious error has occured. Xara Xtreme may be
not be able to recover. If possible, save your work under a
different filename and exit immediately. Do you want to attempt
to save your work before quitting?"

How fixing it?

Note: I install XaraLX from source for possibility intergate my experimental
change in xara interface. But build from native source don't work normally.

I always use the pre-built binary so I dont know... might want to ask on the dev mailinglist

ok..lol...because of some updates I did Xara didnt work very well anymore, someone suggested I rebuild Xara from source and I did. Now I got the same problem as you do...also some other random crashes...damn it! Please Charles Moir, make it work again, I love your software.
