well, I needed Xara TONIGHT so
I bought it. I tried to contact
the guys at Xara today to see how
they will be charging for upgrades,
but I forgot
its Saturday in England and they
probably are not answering email.

I've got my fingers crossed and hope
that I will not be paying the full
price again in 2 weeks.

I didn't think Xara 2 was available any more.

Yep, it is still for sale by download from Xara's website rather like Xara 3D - download and then unlock with the code generated from the website.

Xara 2 is $79.95 or $30.95 if upgrading from Xara Webster 2.

I thought they had an agreement with Corel to stop selling it. I guess they got out of it.

Thanks for the information!
