import GIF or JPEG

how can i import GIF or JPEG to Xara 3D 6???

Hello Flako,

Welcome to Talkgraphics.

A gif or jpeg can only be used as a Texture in Xara3D.

If you were wanting to import a gif or jpeg and have it become 3D, that is not possible.

Xara3D requires a vector object to extude into a 3D shape. gif and jpeg files are raster (bitmapped) images.

I just watched a video in which a clip art was brough into Xara 3D from Extreme and made into 3D.

Is this not possible with a graphic file of some type?
