To save further confusion, cyclists will be required to cycle along the centre line throughout January.

But seriously, how were you able to make it run so smoothly, I can't figure it out?
Just place your can inside a circle, give the circle no fill and no line colour, group and make a named object. then rotate 90 degrees at a time.

Here's an example with the circle visible ~ the circle is bigger than this but I've reduced it's size to post.

    Ron, or Egg....
Perhaps one of you could demonstrate for us, the "changing lanes" results (during the week prior to all the lorries and buses changing??)
Cyclists may be included into the scenario if deemed neccessary for full effect

You can use this (enclosing shapes within a circle) to get some good effects. Notice the shadow remains true.

    Neat trick Egg,
Although on that path, I don't think he'll find any eggs apart from you.!

PS Sorry I see that it was supposed to be a snake, I mistook it for something younger.

    Salaam,

In the name gallery it's not called "snake" either. Thought I'd better change the name for posting on TG

How are you able to keep the shadow with the animation?

When I try and do a simple text fade in with a shadow it says can't tween shadow.

Hi Jaysin, that's correct you can't use a drop shadow on text and tween it so you need to "cheat".

    1: Create your button text
    2: Copy to Clipboard
    3: Select the Text
    4: Apply a shadow
5: Arrange / Convert to Editable shapes
    6: Ungroup
    7: Deselect All
8: Select the text and delete
9: Select the remaining shadow and Name it
10: Ctrl+Shift+V to paste a copy of the text in the exact position as before
11: Select the text and name it.

    Duplicate that Frame

Go to original frame, select both the Text & Shadow and scale down as required.

    Export swf

    You get an error message:

    The following cannot be exported:
Frame 2: Single tile bitmap transparency.
but it can be ignored, it works.

This was made without adding a bounding circle and with movements of 180°. i.e. I used the [rotate] command.
