    Default Bob Marley

This drawing is done in the usual way, by using a threshold filter in Live Effects on a photo of Bob. Then using layers I built up the figure and this time I wanted to do the drawing very quickly. The whole process start to finish took and hour and a quarter which shows as it is a bit crude as there is no feathering or transparency which I would normally do. Your comments on the process and looks would be appreciated.

Very nice work!!!! I never got the whole "Bob Marley" thing but I really like this piece I think his largest source of followers was people who liked him just because he was open bout "smokin" (so it was "cool" to like him)
    ANyway, beautiful piece!!!!

Peter the threshold filter techique works very well.

Even without using feathering and transparencies it is a very good likeness.

I like the strong lines in the image. The colours work well together.

That is a potential album cover if ever I saw one.
Great background colours, it doesn't need feathering
or transparencies or anything else, it's perfect as it is.
    (Go on, prove me wrong).
    Saludos,
    Bob.

That technique seems to work very well and if you look at the drawing from a small distance the likeness is absolutely stunning .

REal Nice... couldn't you do the same thing by creating a bitmap copy with very few colors...(8-10) then running a trace on it? If you sent me I copy of the orignal I will take a swag at it and time it...
