Hi Rich,
That's a very nice brush, although I think I prefer the single ring on its own.
The texture looks like a semi precious stone, and seems to create most of it's own highlights, very neat.
Saludos,
Bob.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx.
Neat one Rich. Looks like a fancy diffusion filter...
Nice one Rich, now if I could only simulate the fill that gave you that lovely goldie/brass effect.

I cut out a rectangle and made it into an image stroke. Then flowed the image into a circle.

Really love this one. Very creative, Rich.

Thank you Rich.I might have guessed.

Nice colours on the ring, Rich.
"Flowing" the image to the circle, did you find a plugin to accomplish this in Xara? Or is this done in Expression? Don't want to confuse people as this is the Xara Gallery.

Risto,
That flow was in E3.2. I saw that I had constructed the ring map this way. I could see the ends joined.
I have done this from time to time. Just make a long rectangle, define it as a stroke. Then apply it to a path. In this case, the image streched around the circle.
