It wasn't there! If you remember, all I listed were all of the tools that could not be used... the contour tool wasn't listed...I suppose it was a bit sneaky.

I agree with Egg. The original post seemed to indicate what could be used, as well as what couldn't. That list is why I didn't do anything to the text. But I'm not a big cheese.

I raise my hands in admission of defeat, (and my eyes in supplication).
I'll accept the majority decision, and offer my most abject and humble apologies for misleading you all in this shameful way.
I'll try not to do it again.
Still, it has shown what an important tool the contour tool is, (which is
why I phrased the challenge the way I did) and possibly somebody may have learned something from following this thread.

1. The contest starter was very, very off-hand.
2. The contest competitors were not clever enough to take the contour tool into account.

The Jury comes to the following judgement:

1. Egg has to start a new Contest with well defined rules here in this forum.
