I think Bill hit the nail on the head - it doesn't work with xtreme, because of incompatability with XPE/live effects? - it may be possible to get round this, but I don't know.

I still have X1, Xtreme and Pro all running on my machine, as they all have their good [and bad] points

Xeus is a bitmap editor, and now that Xtreme Pro 3.2 comes with a rather handy and useful (albeit not spectacular) bitmap editor, Xeus is probably discontinued and redundant. It's a shame people are immediately uninstalling Xtreme Photo Editor, seemingly in rage; it's a very functional, partially Xara-developed bitmap editor that adds quite a lot to Xara. Painting with pixels though is quite an art form.
