Nice presentation Rich. What if I may ask is most of your work here, is it photography or drawing/painting or a mixture of both,? whatever! I always like to see your work but do not always understand it's application but then I don't understand most foreign languages, scientific theories et al.

Nothing springs to mind at the moment Rich just now and again my old brain gets bewildered. Nothing for you to worry about, you do a fine job especially nowadays as the forum gets a bit quiet.

    Norman,

An attempt to make a stained glass tile. I might try to make a tile for the flowers.

    Norman:

If I understand Rich (and I'm not sure I do), he has a deep urge just to see what can be done. In my opinion, he has continually pushed Xara's limit trying new things out just for the fun of it. Some of what he has accomplished may have never been done before, and he has left trails throughout this forum with those examples. I suspect that he is the most knowledgeable person here on the use of transparencies. (I can't follow a lot of what he does, but it always works for a result I've never seen elsewhere.) He seems to be looking for the effects that can be accomplished with the blend of bitmap and vector, usually using the bitmap as the basis, and his imagination as the half-way point. But as I said, I'm not certain I understand him, and I expect he'll surprise me again.

    Rich:

    Wonderful work!

    Thanks David,

    John,

I was nuclear trained in the Navy, and spent a few years as a instructor before going to submarine duty.

I went back to school to be an artist, but couldn't transfer since all the classes were filled. Lots of room for mechanical engineers, though.

Eventually, I became one. I ended up with an expertise that isn't tought in schools. I was mentored by the masters of the technology.

    Rich
