    Default Jefferson Oak logo design

I am not a graphic designer myself but I do work with people who are. I may not know all that much about this art personally but I found this logo pretty cool.

Nice silloutte, but I would think it is a little too complex to make a good logo.

    John,

Why is it too complex? How can you put the logo down when you don't even know how it is used? What if the intended use is for a website banner, or large scale singnage only? Not all logos are used on fax sheets (nor do they always need to be 100% for that use).

    logobee,

Personally, I think the imagery works just fine, and the tree in itself looks interesting. However, I can't simply by looking at the logo, determine what it's all about (not always necessary) --- a name can carry a business a long way. Also, I guess the tree and the name can have local significance, with an impact that I can't determine.

    Hi Logobee
I think that the design is not bad. It could work nicely. You say that you don't know much about this kind of art yet you seem to have an extensive web site that is devoted to making and selling logos to people.

I think it looks pretty cool too.

I get the impression it is a logo for an upscale housing development. Or maybe for a publisher of classy books.

    What's it for?

    Regards, Ross
