Enlarging Toolbars

Is there a setting ( use large icons ) that can be
accessed in AI CS2. The menu items are fine, but
the toolbars are real micro. The screen res is fine with all apps, but this aspect really tests the eyes.

As far as I know thats the only icon set in the programme so no you can't change them for larger set.

Try learning the shortcuts - or setting your own - so that you don't have to depend too much on the icons.

Some people use Window's magnifier (one of those accessibility features) when it comes to working with Illustrator's anchor points, so maybe that could also work for you with the icons. I have no experience with such aids though so I can be of no further help in this case.
