    Valery--- It is with drawings like this where the real artistry shows, others like me are just mere dabblers or copyists.

    Hey Valery....

    Just wanted to let you know that there have been many compliments on that piece in my home from friends and family ( I am surrounded by artists at all times, it runs in my family on both sides...)
    Anyway, just wanted to say Thank You for your generosity... and beautiful work!!!

    PS... I know it's late but... hope ya had a great "National Day"!!!!!! ; )

    Norman, I think you are not correct. You are not copyist. Every line you draw is your original line and each shape is absolutely specific with it`s fill and outline.
    I also can to say that every artist who paint landscapes or portraits, or still life copy what he see with his eyes and past it with his hands.

    Val, you are amazing! You draw like I wish I could draw. It's not surprising to me that you hang out in that soda/coffee cafe (first drawing) since all of the other people there are women!
    This last drawing... I would never have thought to leave part of the sunglasses white so that they look reflective. I would have simply colored/drawn them all solid black. Great job (as usual)!
