Before to all sorry for post here, i don`t know where to post because in the xara xtreme forum i only saw linux plugins and flash forums.

i was trying to place a .ai file exported with xtreme pro. but i can´t indesign show me an error message.

maybe is for the .ai version i export a file in freehand and i can use without a problem in indesign.

I don´t want to raster the image with photoshop.

I want to import the ai file to indesign.

i can import a XaraEPS, but i don´t know if the eps will be printed fine in CMYK.

and i can imoprt the ai exported with XXP to freehand 10.

    This is realy annoying.

    Thanks in advice.

    Hi Jose,
I know CS 2 can import PDF and not treat it as a bitmap as the previous version did so that means you can edit the PDF in ID. I am not as fortunate as yourself and only have the CS version so I use tiff to import into ID, so if the PDF doesn't work then use the Tiff method.
    Design is thinking made visual.

Xtreme uses .ai version 7 to export as... If you have .ai import then export it as a newer version. That's what I usually do. Haven't had any complaints from any printers yet.

    Hola Jose.

Did you try Xara *.EPS? I have had pretty good luck with EPS files.

Or PDF as Pete said is good too.
