Thanks Bob,
I remember Bazooka Joe, although I never understood who he was or what he did except sell bubblegum.
You can create a vector spiral by using:
SPX Spiral Generator by Dmitry Malutin
or by using Inkscape (save as PDF).
Once you have imported the spiral line into XX you can add a bevel to it:
http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...ighlight=bevel
Now clone the 3D spiral line (bevelled line), position the clone somewhere above or below the original and blend them together from bottom to top.
Use the layer gallery and clone this blend.
The top blend will be used to shade the text.
Place text on the bottom blend layer using the mould tool to shape it.
Select the top blend and click on the transparency tool and then select a transparency type.
Hi Salaam, that SPX Spiral Generator is a nifty little program.
Thanks for the instructions,
Saludos,
Bob.

Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. Groucho Marx.
One more picture I made just for fun using transp. and fill tools.
Valery, I thing this would make a great poster for a dentist's waiting room!
It certainly conveys the message "Fun" also. Very effective use of the two tools.
Saludos,
Bob.

Looks pretty cool to me valery... nice relaxing doodle. Not nearly as stressful producing that than SarahX...

Here in Spain and the UK, and I suspect in the USA as well, you can get a hefty fine for not wearing a seat belt. Glad to see you're taking no chances.
Nice effects there, John.

Thanks Bob and Norman. Hopefully I keep my hair as long as my Father has. He is pushing 80 and still has a full mop.
