.xar to .png / .jpg????

I designed a nice background with the Xara logo and PCLinuxOS logo faded into each other, with smoke frontage..... I went to "save as"..... and it doesn't go anywhere, tried changing to jpg / png... how the heck do I convert .xar to jpg or png, etc.......
And yes... I am a novice......

Hey..... anyone thought about a new distro revolved around Xara???? It could be called Xara OS????!!!!

I tried the export, and sent it to my pictur folder, then chacked and it was there, but it is still xar.... I even tried by renaming it, the name took "xara/linux.jpg / then .png, etc... but it only shows blank screen????? Thank you... by the way......

When you start the export and it's asking you for the name of the file, you also need to select the file type that you want to export to from the drop down list. I don't think it is smart enough to infer the file type from the filename (I could be wrong).

It certainly works that way on windows - you have to select file type and not just name

Well..... it's official...... I am definitely an idiot!!!!! Thank you both.... I looked back on my notes and I had "not" done the export..... (which should have been my first try....) Thank you both for the help..... I guess I just got cuaght up in all the excitement of this revolutionary moment..... Xara/Linux!!!!!
