How does this question relate to Xara Xtreme?

< Tongue-in-cheek > You, of all people, should know that this is a much needed addition to Xara. It's just another thing that should be on your list! </ Tongue-in-cheek >

In the options dialog "Units" under unit definitions you can set up new units, Eg. seconds, minutes and degrees. You will have to fiddle with the scale and page size to make it work.

if we are talking angular measurement here , then its going to take some fancy dead reckoning surely, because thats logorithmic not linear?

is xara the right program for this?

I'm afraid we are not being too helpful here even though I thank you for reminding me that we absolutely must have a Sextant tool for the next release. How I might have overlooked this is a mystery.

josekjosh - Are you trying to do this in Xara or are you just asking a more general question?
