Hi Salaam, I'm still having problems with these textures. I've even taken my images, re-sized them and cut and pasted them into your image and resaved them as gifs rather than jpgs andthey still don't rotate correctly. I still get part of the incoming image appear briefly on the right hand side of the mug on entry then I get an inverse image appear briefly on the left side on exit. So I would need shadows both sides which would be a) unrealistic and b) very dark! I will stick with it and post an image when I crack it.
BTW, thanks to the friendly help on this site I have now bought both X3D6 and XXtreme!

    Hi Andy,
Even mine has the same problem.
    Solutions:
► Make the image small so that you can not notice the error.

► Or in the 'Animation options' panel; change the
    • 'Frames per cycle' to 4
    • 'Frames per second' to 4
This will reduce the number of frames and speed it up so that the viewer has less chance to see the error. The error is still visible but only someone looking for it will be able to observe it.
If this is too fast for you, change the
    • 'Pause' to 50.
This will only pause it at the full image then continue fast to the next full image.

Now pour in a soothing Ovaltine, and have one on me.

Thumbs up Re: Is a rotating coffee mug possible?

Right, I played with the pause, upped the fps, tilted the mug away from the obvious angle and this is the result.
Thanks for all the help on this one guys, hope it was an intriguing problem for you all.
