Help Needed[software]

Hi,

I have images of Lion and a cage.
Now i need to draw image of Lioin inside Cage.

I need a open source software which has this functionality.

I thinking of using these.

I need a program which can take n images and create a scene out of it.
ie i will specify the relative sizes of images and their relative positions on scene.

Ok - you need a 3D modeling program for this, which Xara3D is not.

I suggest you repost this in the 3D Graphics forum, with your link asking for advice on 3D modeling, and hopefully one of the modeling experts such as Mike Bailey or Gidgit will be able to advise.

Programs I would think appropriate would be blender, wings, or lightwave - but I am not a 3D modeler myself sorry.

Open source 2D drawing program that I use is inkscape
www.inkscape.org

There is also gimp
www.gimp.org

The models that you have linked to however are 3D mesh models, and not 2D,
and so I think you would have to use different images.

Mike Bailey has replied to your post in the 3D Graphics forum, with respect to the models you linked.
