Default Noob needs support: Buttons borders dimension changes.

I am trying to create buttons for a forum.
I have created the button I would like.
It is an outline border on a transparent background.
    Text will go inside it.
It will have NO animation and will be saved as a .gif file.

The problem I am having is that whenever I add text to it the buttons borders dimension change. It strecthes thiner or grows fatter to accomodate the # of characters in the text.

I do not mind the lenght of the button changing as I have more or less text but the thickness of the borders need to remain constant.

How can I do that please?

    Default Re: Noob needs support!

Instead of using a border, try use an identical imported 'text' shape to do the same job.
