Hi, i wanted to ask you photoimpact users out there if would you like to help in creating a photoimpact tutorial site? i my self have done a few the last week but i wanted to see if anyone els would like to contribute to it

i love photoimpact and i have been a user for the past 7years doing mostly web design, but there just isn't enough tutorials out there for it. hope i get some postive feedback on this since i already have done the CMS part of the site

Are you aware that there is already a lot of tutorial sites for Photo Impact?
Depends on what sort of tutorials you are looking for but there is Photo Impact International (PIRC) and Rosie Hardmans site at Free Spirit graphics as well as many many more.
Try googling Photo Impact tutorials

your right Kiwi there is a few tutorial sites out there but none are really web design based, sometimes i feel like i'm the only one out there here are examples of my work http://amixroed.com

the site will have more of a community features not found on any other PI site for example

user can submit tutorials/designs to the site directly
upload zip/images
rate the tutorial
comment
user can PM each other
user receives points every time he/she contribute to the site.
polls.



ill be doing mainly web design based tutorials.. so if anyone could write some for image editing or basic tool know hows that would be fantastic. otherwise any useful tutorial would be good

Had a look at your site
Looks quite nice but I saw no mention of Photo Impact there.
As a graphic designer looking for others to make tutorials, how much would you be paying if we were to submit our tutorials?

that site is not the tutorial site I'm making, i was just showing that as examples of my work to show what type of tutorials ill be doing

the site will have no revenue, its just me trying to get a community built around tutorials for photoimpact. but if your not too keen for the community part of it,
i guess i'm willing to pay for some tutorials just to get things going let me know what you can do, and for what price, and ill see what i can fork out hehe

sure no problem.. ill post it when i have it up.. but i think its going to take a while since im going to be doing all the tutorials on my own with only 1 person helping

I personally have been in a blank period for some time and thinking up something new and interesting is getting harder by the day.
My preference (as you may have noticed by my earlier posts here?) are for animations

You might want to check out Phil Preston's site for some excellent PI tuts.

And since I use PI8, there are a few old tuts on my blog as well.
