    Default Animated Glass globe

I had seen the tutorial of the spinning globe on here and I had seen one done on a flash site. So I decided to try my hand at it with Xara and try for a glass one. I made this one an animated gif not a flash file. I used clipview to make this happen.

    Chris,
Good job. Keep at it. Reverse rotation, unless this is what you intended. You can also play with the speed a little if you wish.
    Very good, Chris.

nice work, except.... the continents on the back side are pointing in the wrong direction. if the 'elbow' of S.A. is ponting right on the front, it should be pointing left on the back. (see below). sorry, i don't mean to be ungenerous.

Yes I had noticed that. I still have some tweaking to do to it. I was just messing around at first. So once I get some more done to it it should be more accurate.

Thanks for the comments. Always appreciated.

beware... Ron got me doing this thing... took me weeks to figure it out while i neglected other projects. My solution looks much more difficult than his though.

anyway.... it was fun... if infuriating.

Very nicely done, Chris, and Geoben. That inspires me to go back to my last Xara3D version, and finish it.
