strange behaviour?

For some reason I can`t move the "~" around in this drawing.
I have no clue why, it happened before once, maybe other know what went wrong? I included the xar file.

three objects in xar file - and I can move them all - no problems that I can see

No problems moving any of the objects. I don't have the same font that you used, but no problem moving any of the objects.

Hmm that even makes it weirder, I can move the other two objects but not
the text object? if i pick it nothing happens, only when I drag a square around it I see that it is chosen, but when right clicking I don`t get options
like delete copy etc, like there is no object there?

Only thing I can think of is to tell you to reboot your computer, if you haven't already.
Then try to open and work with the file.

When you have it selected, can you convert it to an editable shape?

Nope, this is what I get.
And with the selector tool choosen I can`t click it, I have to drag a square around it.

There shall be no waltzing the "Tilde" until this problem is resolved.

Opened your file - 3 objects each moveable/selectable and even changed the font size of the tilde.

Yeah I know that others can do it, but I can`t.
